Before using your pump for the first time, sanitize all component parts. 

1. Wash your hands before touching the breast pump parts.

2. Attach the lanyard to the breast pump by using the ring on the bottom of the main body of the pump. Loop the lanyard strap through the ring. Pull the strap through until it is tight.

3. Place the diaphragm downward onto the diaphragm bottom, so that the cross-lined surface is facing the diaphragm bottom. Cover with the diaphragm top and turn it to lock.

4. Twist the diaphragm assembly onto the top of the breastshield connector.

5. Choose the breast shield with the appropriate size and insert the breast shield in the breast shield connector.

6. Connect the valve by placing it up in the bottom of the breast shield

connector. 

7. Screw the bottle into the breast shield connector.

8. Connect the tubing to the back of the diaphragm assembly by inserting the tip of the diaphragm top into the tubing.

9. Connect the other end of the tubing that has the tubing connector to the port on the main body of the pump.

10. For double pumping, repeat these steps to assemble the other milk collection kit.
